  • Florida Plein Air Masters
    April 29-May 13, 2012:   This special two-week exhibition features paintings created by twenty-five artists during the museum’s annual “Winter Park Paint Out.”


  • A Parisian Affair: The Art of Andre Renoux
    May 22- September 23, 2012:  Known as the father of the Urban Realist movement in France, Andre Renoux (1939-2002) has captured the charm of Paris by documenting its cityscapes since the 1960s. His focus is not on its grand architectural monuments but on the more intimate landmarks of daily Parisian life and its environs, such as a kiosk in a city square, colorful shops and out-of-the-way bistros. Renoux's art education includes studies at the Ecole des Art Decoratifs in Nice and the Ecole Superieure des Arts Modernes in Paris. A selection of original oil paintings from the Sebastian Collection will be featured.

    April & May, 2012: From 10:00 - 10:30 each Wednesday enjoy stories about animals with a special zoo animal visit. Designed for pre-school age children.

    • Museums on Us - Free Admission Days
      May 5 - 6, 2012:Free admission to the museum for Bank of America customers from Museums on Us.
    • Free Family Fun Day
      Free admission to the museum on the Second Sunday of each month from noon till 4:30pm.  Activities also include a make-and-take craft station and mini tours for kids. 
    • Kid's Fringe
      The museum partners with the Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival, hosting performances and activities for children over two weekends.
    • IMPRINTS: 20 Years of Flying Horse Editions
      March 30 - August 12, 2012: An interactive exhibition that is a celebration of fine art book printing highlighting the limited-edition art objects and fine art books printed by Flying Horse Editions, a 20-year old nonprofit located at the University of Central Florida's Center for Emerging Media in downtown Orlando.
