- 1). Fold aluminum foil over the bottom of a springform pan so that you have at least two inches of extra foil folded underneath.
- 2). Attach the side walls of the springform pan to the bottom part of the pan.
- 3). Bring the foil underneath the pan up and over the outside of the side walls.
- 4). Pour the cheesecake batter into the pan.
- 5). Fold the edges of the foil over so that it covers the edges of the cheesecake batter. This will keep the edges from burning when you bake the cheesecake.
- 6). Bake as usual.
