- 1). Pre-soak the stain in water to see if any of the stain is lifted prior to treatment. If not, gently rub a piece of bar soap into the stain to remove what is left. Rinse with warm water. Launder as directed on the label.
- 2). Rub shampoo directly into the stain, if it was not removed in Step 1. Do not dry the clothing until the stain is removed. Once the stain is lifted, launder as directed on the label.
- 3). Pour liquid laundry detergent directly onto the stain, if it was not removed in Steps 1 and 2. Rub the liquid into the stain and rinse with warm water until the remains are removed. Launder as directed on the label. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3, depending on available products, until the stain is removed. Continue to launder the article of clothing until the stain is completely removed.
