How to Get Facebook Notifications on a BlackBerry Phone
- 1). Visit the BlackBerry Facebook download page on your computer (see Resources). Enter an email address that is associated with your BlackBerry phone in the provided space and click "Submit." A download link for Facebook will be sent to your email.
- 2). Open the email application on your BlackBerry. Click the Facebook link to download Facebook for your BlackBerry. After the Facebook application downloads, it will install. Follow the steps during the installation, which include signing into Facebook by entering your username and password and the option of syncing your Facebook friends with your contacts.
- 3). Open the Facebook application. Press the BlackBerry "Menu" button. Click "Options." Ensure that "Facebook Notifications" and "BlackBerry Messages" application are both enabled via check-box. Click the check-box if they are not enabled.
- 4). Press the "Menu" button and select "Save." You should now receive Facebook notifications on your BlackBerry.
