How to Get Ringtones on an Instinct Phone
- 1). Install the Sprint Media Manager software on your computer. You can do so by inserting the Sprint CD that came with the phone into the CD drive of your computer. Follow the onscreen instructions.
- 2). Run the Sprint Media Manager software on your computer by double clicking its shortcut from the desktop.
- 3). Connect the phone to your computer using the USB data cable that came with the phone. Sprint Media Manager will automatically detect the phone.
- 4). Click on "Add Media" on the home screen of the software and click "Media to Import."
- 5). Click on "Music" in the left pane to open up an empty list on the right side.
- 6). Select the ringtone files on your computer's hard drive, drag them onto the Media Manager window and drop them on the empty list you have created in Step 5. The ringtones will be added to the list.
- 7). Click the "Transfer Now" button to start transferring the ringtones to the phone. You will be shown the transfer progress on the phone's screen.
- 8). Disconnect the phone from the computer after the transfer is complete. The ringtones will be to the music folder of the phone and can now be used as ringtones.
