I have always been a lover of candles, of all kinds. Different shapes and sizes, colors, designs, etc. But my absolute favorite candles are the ones that are scented- especially those made by Yankee Candles Co. I have been a fan of Yankee Candles Co. for as long as I can remember. They have so many different kinds of candles and accessories, and so many different scents to choose from. I must admit that at times, they can be a little on the pricey side, but the good news is that once you purchase your candle, it should last you a decent amount of time (depending upon the size and burn time). I have too many favorite scents to narrow them down, but I will say that each scent is perfect for a different time of the year. I love the scented candles that smell of apples, cinnamon, cider, pumpkin and spices for a season such as Autumn. It really gets me into the spirit of apple picking and Halloween. I think these scents also offer a housewarming scent- it's nice to walk into a room with a warm apple cinnamon candle burning. It makes you happy to be home. For a season like summer, I enjoy candles with a clean, crisp scent. Scents like clean cotton, linen, cottage breeze, etc. It puts me in the mood for the warm sunshine, cool breeze, and reminds me of the beach, the beautiful ocean waves, and warm, thick sand. Around Christmas time, I find myself burning sweet favorites like sugar cookie, and peppermint stick. Children especially love these scents, for it reminds them that Christmas is coming, and Santa is not far away! I think that candles can also be used in a romantic way. My husband and I enjoy burning candles scented of sweet pea, or roses. The flame luminates the room, creating a passionate atmosphere, and the smell is just wonderful. I think that Yankee Candle Co. is accomodating to many types of people. They offer so many sizes of candles each with a specific burn time. The accessories (tart burners, decorations, etc.) really help to make a candle lover able to decorate their space. They offer so many wonderful, unique scents, that they are sure to please even the pickiest of buyers. I myself am a candle fanatic, and I enjoy burning candles, and do so at least once or twice a day. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I visit a Yankee Candle shop! I can't seem to get enough, and I know that's okay, because finding something that makes me so happy is worth the money!!
