- 1). Spray the entire cookie sheet with oven cleaner and allow it to rest for one hour. Place the cookie sheet in a safe place where it will not be disturbed by children or pets.
- 2). Put on rubber gloves and scrub the cookie sheet with a sponge that has a scrubber side. Scrub away any remaining stains on the cookie sheet. The burnt residue should release relatively easily.
- 3). Rinse the pan and wash normally. Make sure that reside from the oven cleaner is completely gone before drying the pan and using it.
- 1). Mix a paste out of 1 cup baking soda and 1 cup vinegar.
- 2). Apply the paste to the burnt pan. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
- 3). Scrub the pan using a sponge with a scrubbing side. This method will require more work, but does not use any unhealthy chemicals. Rinse the pan clean and wash thoroughly before use.
