Difference Between Nordic Track Excel & Sequoia
- Both the Sequoia and Elite are similar in design. Both fold up for easy storage, but the Excel features wheels on the back, which allows for easier movement and storage. If you will be frequently moving your machine, the Excel would probably be a better choice.
Otherwise, their design is functionally identical. Both have adjustable incline and resistance and both have the patented flywheel, which produces a smooth, natural motion. - The Sequoia and the Excel are similar in terms of their appearance. The Sequoia is constructed from redwood-stained pine and black, matte steel, while the Excel is constructed from natural-finish oak and a combination of black metal and stainless steel, which is shiny.
- The Sequoia, which was intended to be a no-frills, budget-friendly model, generally offers fewer features. Most Sequoias did not come with electronic displays, bottle holders and other features. The Excel, which was introduced after the Sequoia, is generally equipped with these items.
- Nordic Track no longer produces or sells the Sequoia or the Excel. Currently, the only skier available from Nordic Track is the Nordic Track Classic Pro Skier, which is similar in appearance to the Excel. However, if you wish to purchase a Sequoia or an Excel, they are available from businesses that purchase, refurbish and sell these machines. Additionally, you can purchase used machines that have not been refurbished on Ebay, Craigslist and other places that specialize in the sale of secondhand merchandise.
