New Year resolutions are like promises, easy to be made, but hard to keep. Isnt it? Every year, we pledge to make healthy promises so that we steer clear of dangerous diseases and less than 15 days in the New Year, we forget all about the promises made. Therefore, lets do something different this year and not make ourselves promises that will never be fulfilled. Lets take a practical look and make real resolutions that may be funny but simple to do. Obviously, good health would be the end result.

1. Lose weight

This is like the most abused resolution of all times. Now, let us look how we can practically achieve it. Firstly, dont load your plate with everything on the table. So, curb overeating the simple way, replace your cutlery to embrace smaller ones today.

2. Quit smoking

Once again a resolution that we all make every year and then, continue to keep on making until we eventually die of cigarettes. The truth is smokers have a mindset that if you have it in moderation, smoking is not bad of health. If you are a smoker who is unable to quit the habit, imagine your life 10 years down the line, coughing, wheezing, breathless, and unable to do any physical activity. Acidity, insomnia, heart problems, obesity, etc., have roots in stress. Therefore, pledge to give your mind the relaxation that it needs. Join a swimming class, practice aerobics or simply turn the volume up and listen to your favorite singer. Do at least one thing in a day that can give you peace of mind.
