The menu includes classic appetizers, pastas and Italian wines. Chef Giovanni, a Naples native, has more than 40 years of experience in the food and dining industry. The décor is rustic, with wooden furniture and hunting trophies on the walls, and the menu features meat and seafood dishes such as broiled rib steak and hot antipasto, chicken a la casa and shrimp fra diablo. Desserts and a vegetarian menu are also avaialble. The restaurant is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The staff recommends securing reservations for weekend dining.

• Tony Boffa's Restaurant, which is a little over 10 miles from Wurtsboro, has operated since 1951 and specializes in classic Italian cuisine. The restaurant has a mix of various appetizers, soups, salads and entrees ranging from stuffed baked clams, shrimp cocktail and eggplant parmigiana to pastas and sandwiches such as lasagna, manicotti, penne a la vodka and Tony's special spaghetti. Seafood and meat dishes include broiled sea scallops, calamari marinara, chicken cacciatore, veal francese and Italian classico. A wide variety of wines are on the menu, and diners can purchase homemade sauces to take home. The restaurant provides private dining rooms and a party menu as well as delivery service.
