Do it Yourself: Bridal Favors

    • 1). Put together a fun video to showcase you and your spouse-to-be's great senses of humor and love of laughter. You can make a parody of the first time you met or joke about the stress of wedding planning by taking a camera with you to try on dresses and pick out invitations. Barring the cost of CDs and your time, this option would practically be free and something your guests would love to have as a keepsake.

    • 2). Give your guests a photograph to remember. Since the advent of digital cameras, we have become a society obsessed with photographs so everyone will love to have a memorable shot of their favorite couple. Make yours unique, however, by splicing together a few shots and taking the finished product to a sign company to print on a magnetic backing. Everyone will be impressed by how professional the finished product looks.

    • 3). Provide your guests with something they need around the house by personalizing an inexpensive and practical item they will find useful such as votive candles or self-adhesive notes. According to The Knot, presentation is everything, so wrap them in a pretty netting and tie them with a bow, adding a message to the ribbon that will help everyone remember your special day. Make sure you add the date of your wedding and any other personal message you would like to give your guests.

    • 4). Create a sweet treat if no other options seems appealing and go with the surefire crowd-pleaser: candy. One of the most fun ways to add a personal touch to the candy route is making a switch to any standard candy bar that has a wrapper. Simply create your own wrapper, including elements like your wedding date and a picture, on a computer and print them out, cutting them to the size of the candy bar and replace the existing wrapper.
