- 1). Hold the body of the cooked lobster in one hand and the top of the lobster tail in the other hand. Twist the body counterclockwise while twisting the tail clockwise to separate the tail from the body.
- 2). Remove the flippers with a nutcracker. Use your lobster fork to pull meat out of them. Place the flipper shells in the shell bowl.
- 3). Cut the middle of the tail lengthwise from the large opening to the smaller opening that was attached to the flippers with a serrated knife.
- 4). Pry open the shell with one hand while pulling the lobster meat out with the other hand. Place the shell in the shell bowl and dine on the tail meat.
