How to Make an Origami Baby
- 1). Fold the piece of paper in half lengthwise, crease it, fold it in half again widthwise and then crease it again. Re-open the second fold so that you see the crease. Fold the left side of the paper in to meet the crease. Turn the paper 180 degrees so that you can see two creases at the bottom half of the paper and no creases at the top half.
- 2). Fold the bottom right corner of the paper diagonally so that it forms a triangle. The tip of the triangle should stop right after the bottom crease. Crease the triangle and unfold. Rotate the paper 180 degrees so that the triangle fold you just made is now at the top left.
- 3). Fold the bottom left corner diagonally up so that the left edge of the paper meets the top crease of the paper. Keep the paper folded. Take the top edge of the fold you just made and turn it down to meet the bottom edge of the fold and crease. Open up the entire paper. You should have a flat piece of paper full of creases.
- 4). Bring the two outermost long creases inward toward the center to form a cone type of shape at the top of the paper. Push down on the cone to flatten the paper then flip the paper to the opposite side.
- 5). On the bottom of the paper, you should have two edges sticking out. Fold both edges inward to meet the center crease. Re-open the fold and flatten the edges upward on the crease you just created to create a triangle.
- 6). Roll just the tip of the triangle down to create a crease. Roll it down one more time to create another crease.
- 7). Fold both the right edge and the left edge of the crease you made in Step 6 down and inward to form two small triangles and crease.
- 8). Flip the paper over to the opposite side and fold the entire design in half lengthwise. Open the two inside pockets upward and flatten the designs to flow with the folded half.
- 9). Place you fingers in the opening on the top right side of the fold, push out both sides, then fold and flatten back.

Fold the two flaps on the left side of the design over to meet the right crease of the design. Open the left side of the design slightly and sit the baby on the left side of the design. This is the back of the sleeping baby.
