• Fashion photography: Irving Penn worked for the famous 'Vogue' magazine and used innovative backdrops to capture pictures.
Terence Donovan was famous during the 1960s in the world of fashion photography after having nearly 3,000 commercials to his credit! Richard Avedon broke the traditional methods of shooting his models and captured their beauty in natural light finding his way to occupying the pages of famous magazines like 'Vogue' as well as 'Life'.
• Wildlife photography: Ansel Adams, an environmentalist from San Francisco contributed immensely through his captivating black and white pictures.
