- 1). Till the soil where you are planting the forget-me-nots after the last frost of the season.
- 2). Apply a general-purpose fertilizer to the soil. This fertilizer contains equal amounts of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.
- 3). Plant the seeds in the soil, spacing them 4 to 5 inches apart.
- 4). Cover the seeds with about 1/8 inch of topsoil.
- 5). Water the seeds enough to keep the soil damp.
