Walmart Tent Instructions
- 1). Find a flat area of ground that accommodates the size of Walmart pop up tent you are assembling. Ideally, this ground will be higher up than the ground around it to prevent flooding if it rains. Clear the area of any rocks, sticks and debris to make your tent more comfortable.
- 2). Unfold the tent and place it on the ground in the direction you'd like it to face, with the tarp side down.
- 3). Unfold one peg and connect the joints so that it makes a solid rod. Most pegs are jointed to fold down to be portable and are connected by an elastic band, which allows each joint to slip into the next.
- 4). Insert the rod into the tent's rod sleeves that run along its seams. The rod should go from one corner of the tent diagonally over the roof of the tent and then to the corner on the opposite side.
- 5). Repeat the process with the other peg. Insert each end of the peg into the corner flap of the tent. As you insert the peg into the corners the tent will begin to pop up. Once all the pegs are in the corner flaps the tent will be fully upright.
- 6). Insert the stakes into the stake holes, with the bent edge up so that it presses down on the fabric of the tent. Using your foot or a hammer, drive the stakes into the ground until they are secure and don't wobble. The number of stakes will vary based on the size of the tent and the brand. Install all the stakes to secure the tent and prevent it from blowing away.
