Digestive problem and symptoms
Digestive problem is a very difficult problem as it plays a vital role in human body. Digestion problem can also be said as indigestion and indigestion is when someone feels discomfort after a meal or during a meal in the stomach or chest. A kind of burning or pain is felt in the abdomen. The symptoms of indigestion are abdominal pain, bloating, fullness and tenderness on stomach, feeling of fullness, belching and gas, nausea and vomiting and feeling tight and swollen stomach.
Digestion problems can be of following types:
Irritable bowel syndrome: The frequency o the muscle contractions become irregular and the improper movement of food and water in the body. So the food does not get rinsed out but it accumulates in the body leading to the accumulation of mucus and toxins in the body. The stool does not come regularly. The symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome are bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain and spasms, and nausea. The pain increases by eating anything making the patient weak as they avoid eating.
Diventricular Disease: Diverticual is a pea shaped pouch that is formed in the colon wall.
The pouches are formed due to constipation. When a person suffers from constipation then the pressure leads to make pouches at the weaker points in the colon. This disease is symptoms free and only some realize it as they have pain and spasms.
If the pouches get inflammated then a surgery may be required.
If the pouches become inflamed or rupture, the condition is called diverticulitis. This generally occurs when waste matter is trapped in a pouch. Diverticulitis can result in pain and fever. It may require surgery. The natural way to treat this is to drink lot of water and include phylum in your diet.
Inflammatory Bowel Disease: The inflammatory bowel disease consists of two problems. One is Crohn's disease and Ulcerative disease. Both these diseases are similar but their characteristics are different. IBS symptoms are abdominal pain, cramping, diarrhea, fever, bleeding from rectum, constipation, and loss of body weight.
IBD is because of some infection in the stomach or sensitivity to some antigens. This lead to inflammation of the blood vessels that leads to lesser blood passing to tissue and some kind of food allergies begin.
Ulcerative Colitis is the continuous inflammation of the muscular lining of the rectum. If the inflammations start then it becomes very difficult to deal with it. The inflammation can be mild or it can be very severe. The symptoms are diarrhea and bleeding from the rectum.
A high fiber diet is suggested and lot of water should be taken to avoid this. A clove of garlic should be taken everyday.
Crohn's disease also results in inflammation, but it can be anywhere on the body but usually it occurs on the colon near the ileocecal valve which separates the small intestine and colon. The inflammation is crohn's disease is more sever and it goes deep inside and can even cause abscess and fistulas.
The symptoms include diarrhea, abdominalpain, fever, headace, loss of appetite, weakness, loss of weight, malabsoption of nutrients.
Non acidic food should be taken to prevent this.
Leaky Gut Syndrome: Normaly, proper chewed food passes through the intestinal wall but in case of leaky gut syndrome larger food particles passes through the gut wall. In this disease the wall gets damaged and inflammation begins.
The symptoms of Leaky gut syndrome are arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, fatigue and irritable bowel syndrome. The patient should avoid alcohol, caffientied drinks.
Candidiasis: It is a fungal infection which is caused by Candida albican, bacterium.when these bacteria multiply it leads to problem of yeast infection in vagina or fungal infection in nails. This is a digestive problem as it colonizes the digestive tract. The toxins produced by the bacteria travel in the blood stream leading to the problem of candidacies.
The symptoms include abdominal bloating, anxiety, constipation, diarrhea, depression, environmental sensitivities, fatigue, food sensitivities, insomnia, low blood sugar, mood swings, recurring vaginal or bladder infections, ringing in the ears, and sensitivities to perfume, cigarettes.
