How to Make a Black Forest Mocha

    • 1). Brew a strong pot of your favorite coffee. For best results, choose dark roasted coffee beans and store them in the freezer or refrigerator until you are ready to make your coffee. Finely ground your coffee with a small grinder moments before beginning your black forest mocha.

    • 2). Add a bit of light cream to the bottom of your coffee mug. The amount of cream you use depends on your personal tastes. To avoid watering down your coffee too much, start with just a small bit of cream, adding more if necessary.

    • 3). Fill your cup almost to the top with your hot, freshly brewed coffee and then add a splash of syrup from a jar of maraschino cherries. Squeeze a bit of liquid chocolate syrup into the coffee, stirring until blended. Again, the amount of each syrup will depend on how sweet you like your coffee.

    • 4). Garnish your black forest mocha with a dollop of whip cream and place a maraschino cherry on top. Serve and enjoy.
