How to Clean Stainless Steel Stove Tops

    • 1). Turn off the stove and wait for it to cool. Remove any objects from the stove top.

    • 2). Dampen a cloth with warm water and wring it out. Apply 1 tsp. of stainless steel cleaner or white vinegar to the cloth and wipe the stove top thoroughly. If the stainless steel cleaner is in a spray form, spray the stove top evenly.

    • 3). Rinse the cloth in clean water and wipe the stove top again to remove any cleaner residue.

    • 4). Soak a cloth in club soda and wipe the stove top in small, circular motions to remove heat stains.

    • 5). Dry the stainless steel stove top with a clean, dry cloth.
