Itsaca, Minnesota, is a small rural area in northern Minnesota, surrounded by forests and lakes with a number of camping areas in the region. Most campgrounds and RV parks do not have cabins for rental, however, there are a few facilities that offer cabin rentals at various times throughout the year. - Lake Bemidj State Park is a 6,000-acre state park in Minnesota originally inhabited by the Dakota Indians hundreds of years ago. Tent, RV, and cabin camping is available year round at the park for nightly and extended rental. Cabins are intended for one or two people and feature single and double bunks, as well as electricity and running water. There are several clean restrooms and showers throughout the park. Recreation activities include a playground for children and a volleyball court. The lake has a small boat dock for canoeing, but canoes are not provided by the park.

There are one- and two-room cabins available, as well as a large bunkhouse with a living area and small kitchen. Cabins at this KOA are in high demand, so reservations high in advance are highly recommended. On-site facilities include a swimming pool, mini golf, and bicycle rentals. The campground also has wireless and modem Internet access, and a lodge with showers, restrooms, and a television.
