The Trashing of a President - Will History Repeat?

The media has hounded the Bush Administration until their very last day, citing the low approval ratings.
Indeed, if the media says it long enough the people will believe it and eventually adopt their broadcasts as reality.
As President Bush left office the media continued to trash him, saying he was not living in reality - but what reality is that, the created reality that the media made up for the masses that had surrendered their minds to the TV sets? President Bush has gotten a completely unfair rating by the media.
I've paid very close attention throughout his administration.
The lead up to the Iraq War, Saddam claimed to have nuclear capability, and had known WMD of other types, plus 13 UN Resolutions violations.
During Katrina, the mayor of New Orleans called off FEMA after the storm passed, then 18-hours after the storm passed the levy broke.
It was a huge storm, FEMA had parked and waited 90-miles away, after it passed they were in-route, most major roads underwater.
Blaming Bush was outrageous - he went on national TV and told everyone to leave.
Why is President Bush to blame for a Hurricane, is he really in-charge of the weather too? But, I also noted that he was blamed for Volcanoes, Earth Quakes, Climate Change and even Continental Drift and Solar Flares on a few websites.
It really got out of hand with his detractors incited by the media.
I have no problem with the Bush Administration, but now I have a severe distrust of the media, as I know the truth, I watched history in the making very closely.
I remember unemployment at 4.
4% lowest in the history of the US.
I am proud of my President and fear the new socialist coming into the realm.
But, I am reality based, I don't do media brain washing - how about you? Indeed, my biggest question now is will they attack this new President in the same vein or will they let him slide because they helped him get into office by running biased news reports? This will be interesting to watch - you know how the "build them up and burn them down" media can be.
What will the future hold in this regard?
