Reasons For Using a Portable Closet

Throughout my years of living on the go, I have recognized what a collector of things I have become.
This relates especially to clothing and shoes.
Perhaps this is because I travel a good deal and because clothing for work is quite distinct from staying-at-home clothing.
Whatever the reasons, I don't have nearly enough closet space in my home.
So, what is a girl to do? My budget is always the primary consideration when looking to solve a problem.
I don't have the funds for construction of new closets.
I do have funds for the purchase of a Portable closet unit or two.
The first thing I decided to do was come up with a written plan for what type of clothing goes where.
Because I have more professional clothing, I decided that it would have the built-in closet all to itself.
I then figured out just how much daily clothing I have to deal with, and I based the size of the Portable closet needed on this figure.
I made a few phone calls to different businesses in order to comparative price the units.
Once I found the best deal, it was a simple matter of going in to town and buying it.
When I got there, I did find a greater choice of portable units than I had imagined there would be.
I don't really like the ones made of vinyl.
They seem to stick out like a sore thumb.
There were several units that required construction, so I chose the one that looked the least difficult.
I was a little nervous about putting it together, but I wanted something that was on wheels and that looked as though it "fit" with the other bedroom furniture.
Well, I learned a great deal about the illusion of innate skills that I possess.
Laughter.
Deciphering visual schematics is not my strong suit.
I did however manage to get the unit built after several hours and many cups of strong tea.
In fact, I did such a good job that I have decided to purchase another portable unit for the guest room.
The last problem area I have to deal with relates to the many pair of shoes I take ownership of.
While at the hardware store, I noticed that they have various styles of portable closet and portable storage products such as storage bags that fit on the inside of the closet door.
I found some specific to shoes and this, I think, will work well for my problem.
