RV Camping in Waskom, Texas

When you walk on the grounds, you notice the dirt road, the pond, large pine trees and miles of hiking trails. This family-owned campground offers full hookups with 30- or 50-amp electricity. Amenities include free Internet, showers, a dump station and restrooms. The cost ranges from $20 to $22 per night as of 2010. Activities include onsite fishing. Dining options within five miles include Chili’s, Cajun Tex and Subway. Pick up groceries within a 10-minute drive at Pay-n-Save and Super One Foods. Plan to visit area attractions, such as Atalanta Railcar in Jefferson and Michelson Museum of Art within 10 miles from the RV park.
