How to Deal With Curly Hair

    • 1). Rinse and condition your hair on a daily basis. Only wash hair weekly. Change your conditioners quite frequently to keep your curly hair from building up resistance.

    • 2). Towel dry your curly hair by wrapping a large towel around the head. Allow the towel to soak up the water and dry the hair. Remove the towel. Blot any additional wetness from the hair. Leave your hair slightly damp to allow the curls to spring back.

    • 3). Skip this step if you used Step 2) Attach the diffuser to your blow dryer. Plug in blow dryer. Turn hair dryer to a cool setting. Place diffuser into the hair. Gently move hair dryer back and forth. Remove. Repeat on all sections of the curly hair. Turn off hair dryer. Unplug hair dryer.

    • 4). Plug in a small-barrel curling iron. Turn curling iron to medium heat setting. Take small section of hair that is no longer curled or as wavy as you like and wrap around the curling iron rod in a spiral fashion, without getting the end of the hair lock on the heat. Slide curling rod out of the hair lock to achieve a spiral curl that matches the rest of your hair style.

    • 5). Place a small amount of anti-frizz hair moisturizer into your palm. Daily, massage the anti-frizz hair moisturizer into your hair from the roots to the tips.
