Hair Loss and Stress Do Not Have to Go Together

Many different things can cause hair loss.
It can be inherited from your parents.
It can be from a medical condition.
It can even come from your medication.
But many people do not put hair loss and stress together.
Stress can play a major role in hair loss as it can cause a hormonal imbalance in your body.
Hair loss that is caused by stress is called Telogen Effluvium.
Even though hair loss and stress can go together, does not mean that they have to.
There are many things that you can do to keep your stress at a minimum.
Meditation is a great way to do this.
A lot of people think they cannot meditate because it is too difficult.
There are plenty of free guided meditation mp3s that can be downloaded off the internet.
These come in many various forms and designed to help in you in many different ways.
Another good way to help eliminate stress is through massage.
Massage is very therapeutic in many different ways.
It will not only relax your mind, but it will also improve the function of most of your body systems.
It will alleviate tension in your muscles and leave you with an overall feeling of well being.
One other way you can help fight stress is through exercise.
This releases feel good hormones into your body, which can help to lower your stress levels.
A good idea is to try and figure out where your stress is coming from.
This can require serious inward reflection and contemplation on your life.
It may be from a relationship, work, children, finances or many other different sources.
It may help when you figure out what is causing you to stress out to the point of losing your hair to find a way to de stress this situation.
If it is your children driving you nuts, maybe you should hire a babysitter and take one night or weekend to yourself or with your companion.
If your job is what is stressing you out, maybe you should decide if it is really something you want to keep doing.
Or maybe try and figure out what about your job is stressing you out and try to find a way to change it.
When it comes down to it hair loss and stress are very related.
The outsides of our bodies are the reflection of the inside.
If your body is frazzled and you feel like you want to pull your hair out constantly because you are stressed, then it will begin to show itself on the outside, such as with hair loss.
The biggest thing to remember is that if you cannot get your stress under control to talk to your doctor or see a therapist.
They are there to help you.
Look at the positive side.
If stress is the only causing your hair loss, once you get rid of it, you will get rid of your hair loss as well, which can be quite a relief.
