How to Make Skateboard Bearing Lubricant
- 1). Turn on your stove and preheat the surface area to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The mixture of the two liquids will provide an efficient lubricant for your bearings, but remains thin enough to reduce any friction between this device and the truck.
- 2). Pour three parts white spirit for every one part motor oil into the stove pot. Place the pot onto the stove and begin stirring with the necessary spoon to mix.
- 3). Stir the mixture of these two liquids over the stove for about five minutes. If the bubbles of this heated combination starts reaching the top of the pot, it's time to remove this from the stove. Five minutes is just a guideline for this method.
- 4). Set the stove pot aside and let the mixture of the white spirit and 10W30 motor oil cool. If you feel as if the mixture is too thick, add more white spirit to the mixture. Heat and stir these two liquids once again, ensuring that you have a thin lubricant for your skateboard bearings.
- 5). Pour the finalized mixture into a bottle for safe storage purposes. Keep this mixture stored in room temperature climates and pour into a bowl when you need to lubricate each of your bearings.
