How to Sync Software for HTC
- 1). Download and install ActiveSync (see Resources). Follow the prompts to install the software correctly. Restart the computer once the installation completes.
- 2). Connect the HTC phone to the computer using a USB cable. Attach one end of the cable to the phone and the other end to the computer. Wait for ActiveSync to recognize the phone.
- 3). Click "Next" when the setup screen, then uncheck "Synchronize Directly With a Server." Click "Next."
- 4). Select the software you want to sync with the HTC, then click "Next."
- 5). Click "Finish," then wait for the synchronization to complete. Disconnect the HTC from the computer when the process completes.
