Don"t Stereotype Dogs

Do all French people wear onions around their neck? Do all Australians wear cork screws on their hats? Do all English people drink Tea? Of Course not.
If I ask you what is the most dangerous dog in America you would probably say Pitbull, Rotweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier or German Shepherd.
But that is completely false.
The most dangerous dog in America are Labradors! Why do you ask? Simply because there are more of them.
All dogs come from and think like Wolves.
Any dog can bite and will bite if put in the wrong situation.
Depending on the dogs personality some are more prone than others such as some have nervous aggression.
Which makes them aggressive simply because they are scared which most animals including humans would do in the same situation.
I have washed StaffardShire Bull Terriers for six years and never been bitten or met one who was not soft and gentle and loving.
Of course as I have already said that's not to say a StaffardShire Bull Terrier won't bite because they would.
But they have real reasons such as defending their den, pack, themselves or over food.
But for a wolf this is just nature.
Dogs live in our human world and we expect them to act like modern humans but the dogs still act like wild wolves.
The reason certain dogs have such bad reputations like Pitbulls.
Is because they are bred to fight by irresponsible people who take joy out of animals suffering.
The authorities have no choice but to ban these dogs as they are the ones used by people who do dog fighting.
In fact any dog could be trained and it could even be a Golden Retriever and maybe in another Universe Golden Retrievers are banned! One very sad memory I have of people Stereotyping dogs is when a lovely family in a very nice house had rescued two Dobermans who were Brother and Sister.
Absolutely wonderful, beautiful, great nature, lovely dogs.
But their neighbour was scared of Dobermans but OK with most other dogs so they persuaded the family to get rid of the Dobermans.
Which meant they had to be taken to another home and probably separated.
Remember any dog can bite but any dog can be as gentle as a butterfly as well.
It all depends on the personality of the dog and the situation us humans put them in.
