What Causes Asthma, and Treatments For Asthma

When I was younger my parents didn't know much about asthma and treatments for it.
Whenever I would start coughing or wheezing they would immediately pull out my inhaler and tell me to puff it twice.
Now don't get me wrong this helped me a lot but it didn't stop it from coming back.
There are many things that cause asthma to aggravate not just outside but in the household and this article will be about what I have learned and my experiences.
Now with Modern medicine, as it stands at the moment, has either stopped looking for the causes of asthma or it has false impressions of the causes.
Through dealing with "trigger factors" we can only hope to treat the symptoms of the problem and not cure it.
Ensuring that you understand your asthma and treatments is critical to stop symptoms occurring.
Cause of asthma can be because of the following: Allergens (particles that cause allergies) such as dust mites, cockroaches, pollen, molds and animal dander (which are tiny scales or particles that fall off hair, feathers or skin) from any pets -These are some causes of asthma, and treatments for them are: dust and dust mites- Put your mattresses and pillows in airtight covers.
Tape over the length of the zipper.
Rubber mattresses are best as the mites cannot penetrate.
Wash all bedding every week in water that is at least 130 degrees.
Removing the bedspread at night may help if it is one that is not regularly washed.
Cockroaches Preventative strategies include: Limit the spread of food around the house and especially keep food out of bedrooms, keep food and garbage in closed containers.
Never leave food out in the kitchen, mop the kitchen floor and wash countertops at least once a week, eliminate water sources that attract these pests, such as leaky faucets and drain pipes.
Indoor Mold When humidity is high, molds can be a problem in bathrooms, kitchens, and basements.
Make sure these areas have good air circulation and are cleaned often.
The basement in particular may need a dehumidifier.
