- 1). Wipe away as much loose dirt and dust as possible with a clean cloth. Use a small brush such as a toothbrush to get into hard to reach areas.
- 2). Fill the sink with warm water and add enough of a mild dish soap to make the water sudsy.
- 3). Submerge the sculpture in the water. If the statue is too large to pick up and fit into the sink dip a clean cloth into the water and dampen it this way.
- 4). Wash the sculpture with a clean cloth or sponge dipped in the soapy water. Use the brush dipped in the soapy water to clean the harder to reach areas.
- 5). Rinse the sculpture with warm water. If the statue is small, rinse it in the sink; for larger sculptures, simply pour warm water over them.
- 6). Dry the sculpture with a soft clean dry towel to remove excess moisture.
