You"re Stuck Because You Settled For The Scraps From The Table Of Life

If you have managed to find yourself stuck in a rut, then I am quite sure that at one point or another you have asked yourself this question? "How did I become stuck in a rut"? There are lots of signs of being stuck in a rut, however there is usually only one process that gets you there.
I personally call this process "settling for the scraps from the table of life.
" Allow me to explain.
When you settle for the scraps from the table of life, you decide to take whatever it is that life determines that you should have.
You stop striving, you stop setting goals for yourself, you become a bit player in the movie of your life instead of the lead actor/actress.
You become fearful instead of fearless, you begin to stagnate instead of continually growing as a person and reaching for things that are just outside of your grasp, just outside of your comfort zone.
Being in your comfort zone is exactly what has kept you stuck in a rut, you haven't ventured out of your comfort zone and have become complacent in your actions.
You have settled into a "comfortable" routine, and the idea of getting out of your "comfort zone" fills you with dread.
The trouble with being in your comfort zone is that the longer you are in it, the more difficult it becomes for you to venture out of it, it becomes your own comfortable prison.
It holds you back and it limits your growth, it keeps you firmly penned in and unable to see a way out.
You must break free from the self-imposed comfort of your situation, you must "stick it out there and risk getting it bitten off.
" You must seek situations that make you a little uneasy, a little uncomfortable, situations that take you out of your comfort zone and place you firmly in your "uncomfortable zone".
Everything that you ever wish to be, do, or have is situated outside your comfort zone, and inside the uncomfortable zone.
If you want to get out of your rut and back into your groove, then you are going to have to get used to the feeling of being uncomfortable.
You must seek out situations that make you feel uncomfortable, then and only then will you be well and truly on your way to getting out of your rut and into your groove.
