Team Building & Motivation For Business Skills
How we perform in work or in our personal life is affected by so many factors, but there is one element that has an overriding contact on everyone. How motivated we are.
If you are able to wake each day with an upbeat attitude, you will perform improved, feel unassailable and take on challenges with drive and resolve. Feeling motivated will positively affect the people around you.
Images are a very powerful form of motivation and can add to the understanding of the world in which we all live and work. As a professional photographer, Mark Gillett is acutely aware of the impact of imagery. The first day will begin with a stimulating insight from Mark who explores the parallels of the business world and photography. How do you turn an ordinary shot into the extraordinary, how do you get it right first time? When should you be satisfied with the results? Is there a better way?
After positively challenging and motivating the delegates, the facilitation moves outside where fresh and innovative challenges will be undertaken. These mental and physical challenges will promote the group and the individual to experiment with this new approach. Seeing the benefit in looking for the solution and not fixating on the problem a new and inspired way, will leave the delegates with a refreshed and inspirational attitude to life at work.
Express Skills Train-ing
Outside are confident that by attending any one of their team building activities/management courses colleagues will develop a greater understanding of each other and build relationships on mutual respect and trust.
However, this often is not enough as in the increasingly competitive world without the skills to do the job staff and businesses will still fail. Our skills programmes address this gap in combining teambuilding with short focussed sessions on important business skills.
All of Outsides sessions are run in an interactive and memorable fashion so that the skills can be easily transferred to the work environment.
The acquisition of the skills are embedded within the overall team building activities and are all based on Outsides ethos that the classroom should be short and focused and that the learning usable in the workplace. (the aims, objectives and an overview of all the skills sessions can be provided on request)
Graduate & Management Training Courses
Outside can create a bespoke graduate and management training programme that is tailored to the companys business and its objectives. Whether the course runs over two days or one week it is very comprehensive, innovative and offer significant value for money.
The depth of the course content and the approach taken will ensure that the delegates cover a wide range of work related situations. Topics could include; communication techniques, leadership styles, group dynamics, group management, delegation and negotiation in addition to gaining a real insight into their own characteristics and behaviours. Each of the learning points will be reinforced and further embedded by relevant and inspiring outdoor activities.
The activities will collectively form part of a journey leaving the delegates with a feeling of genuine purpose, achievement and recognition. Throughout the programme the learning and behaviour patterns will be translated in terms of the relevance to their working environment and referenced to the companys business requirements.
Critically, this will leave the delegates with a true understanding of how their performance, management/leadership style and their position within the greater team can lead to a positive and productive working environment.
This process is enhanced by the highly experienced course leaders that Outside will allocate to this programme and be suitably underpinned by an environment that combines a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a stimulating and adventurous location.
