Sony DCR HC28 Mini DV Handycam Camcorder Instructions
- 1). Turn the camcorder on and adjust the mode. Slide the power switch on the back of the camera repeatedly clockwise until the lamp for "Camera" or "Playback" is illuminated.
- 2). Open the LCD panel on the left of the camera. Open it 90 degrees and then adjust the angle for the best viewing for playback or recording.
- 3). Use the viewfinder. Look through the viewfinder on the back of the camera and use the lever on the side of the viewfinder to adjust the lens until the picture is clear.
- 4). Insert a cassette. Slide the "Open/Eject" lever on top of the camcorder towards the back. Insert a cassette with the window facing outwards. Press "Push." The cassette drawer will automatically slide back in.
- 5). Record footage. Move the power lever to the "Camera" position. Press the "Easy" button on the left hand side of the camera. Press the "Record Start/Stop" button in the center of the power lever to start recording. Press the button again to stop recording.
- 6). Playback your footage. Slide the power lever to "Playback" position. Press the play/pause button on the touch screen LCD to start playing. Press the button again to stop playback. Use the left and right double arrow keys to rewind or fast-forward the movie. Press the stop button to end all playback.
