Tennis Summer Camps in Utah
- The Nike Tennis Camp features instruction from the Utah State head coach, and offers campers a chance to improve their game, make friends and have fun in the process. Camp goers get five to six hours of daily instruction, and get to experience campus life under 24-hour supervision. The Nike Tennis Camp offers overnight and day camps for juniors, as well as adult camps with weekend and week-long options. Both overnight and day camps for juniors are offered at Utah State University located in Logan, while junior day camps and adult camps can be found in Park City.
- The Court Think Tennis Camps are rated among the Top 5 in the world, and St George's Green Valley Spa is host to camps all summer long. Tennis players, beginners and advanced players alike, are welcome to partake in two- or three-day instruction or take advantage of private lessons. Athletes have the option of morning and afternoon sessions, as well as one or the other. Guests can also include tennis in their stay as part of the "Luxury Tennis Getaway" offered by the Green Valley Spa.
- Each year the Utah Tennis Association sponsors a wheelchair camp, which offers instruction to beginners and novices of any age. The camp provides campers with equipment and sport wheelchairs, if needed, and is the only camp of its kind in the state. The camp is held in Salt Lake City, and welcomes anyone from outside of the state. Dean Oba, who is one of the first people to play the sport in Utah, has over 30 years of experience and was a camp instructor as of 2010.
- Tennis camps will be held on campus in Provo for four-day periods beginning at the end of June and carrying into the start of July. The camp is open to boys and girls, ages 12 to 18. Anyone who meets the criteria is welcome to attend, whether they are beginners or experts. Campers get the opportunity to learn strategies, techniques and tactics through drills, as well as competing in singles and doubles competition. Singles and doubles tournaments will be held, and trophies will be given out at each camp. Camps are hosted by the men's and women's head tennis coach at BYU.
