How To Make a TV HD Ready
- 1). Turn off your television.
- 2). Connect the Digital Converter box to your television using an HDMI cable. Then, connect the DVD player to the TV using a component or HDMI capable depending on the resources you have available and the number of input connections for HDMI available on the TV and DVD player. Most older DVD players do not support digital playback.
- 3). Connect your conversion box to the television. If your TV and conversion box are HDMI compatible, use that for the connection, for higher-quality audio and video.
- 4). Connect the HD antenna cable to the digital conversion box and turn your TV on. It will now be ready to display converted HD TV shows.
