Soul Astrology: A Spiritual Science For An Evolving Humanity
It is beyond doubt that we are at an evolutionary point in human consciousness, one which brings understanding of our true nature and our role here, on this planet, at this time.
In studying the evolution of humanity it becomes apparent that we are on the verge of what some might call a spiritual dawn.
From the earliest apes that walked upright as humans, not knowing that they were 'aware' (conscious), we have evolved through stages of 'knowing', to the point where we are now 'aware that we are aware', or conscious.
Awareness has become aware of itself.
We are realizing that we are not helpless victims in a Universe that does things 'to' us, but rather are conscious co-creators of our own evolution.
For the first time, the realization is dawning on us that we are co-creating the reality that we experience.
Not only is our environment affecting us, but we are having a huge effect on it.
We are facing the reality that we are part of one whole system, not separate from it.
This knowing brings a need for us to study and understand our world from a very different perspective.
A truly holistic one.
This new awareness raises many questions that traditional science doesn't have answers for.
As we step into our role as conscious co-creators, we might wonder: Where are we going? What are we co-creating? Who are we co-creating with? Who, or what, is God? This shift in consciousness is known by many names.
It has been described as a global spiritual awakening.
Certainly there is an increased awareness of, and interest in, spiritual matters.
In times to come this period of human evolution may well be called the Soul-Age.
It is written that during this period of our evolution we are to have a conscious experience of our soul.
Not just one or two, like the saints and avatars in ages gone by, but this time we will all experience this.
We are set for a mass quantum leap in human consciousness.
As we move forward into the Twenty-First Century, we will need a different approach to science.
The science of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries was based on separation: dissection, categorization, classification and labeling.
It was a product of the consciousness of the age, which thought the key to understanding anything was to observe it and label it.
From the newly-evolving consciousness that is emerging within the mind of humanity, we can see obvious flaws in this approach.
We cannot observe wholeness from the outside because in wholeness there is no duality, and so there is no outside! (Nor inside for that matter).
It is clear that in moving forward from here we will need a different approach to science.
A holistic approach that brings us to deeper understandings of unity, wholeness, the interrelatedness of all things, and oneness.
We will need sciences that are congruent with our spiritual being and experience.
Maybe we already have in place some of the rudimentary elements for this.
Maybe wisdom teachers through the ages have been guiding us, but we didn't have the consciousness to recognize what was before us, until now.
Soul Astrology has the potential to become a comprehensive applied science of energy and relationships that gives us a framework for understanding the nature of the universe, quantum physics, the mind, and healing.
We just need to recognize it and learn how to use it properly, in the way it was intended.
Before this can happen we need to understand what Soul Astrology is, what science is, and what their purposes are.
