Some Trees That Can Be Transplanted Easily

Majestic trees standing in the garden enhance the landscape. They also provide shade and act as a screen for privacy. There are numerous varieties of native and exotic trees available in the market that you can transplant in your garden.

All newly transplanted trees require initial care and maintenance. However, there are some native varieties that have better chances of survival. These trees are easier to transplant and they develop fast to enhance the landscape.

Some such trees that you can consider growing in your home garden are-

Red Maple- Red Maple is also known as Acer rubrum and it is one of the most common landscaping trees. Red Maple is deciduous in nature and it is loved for its beautiful foliage that turns red in color during autumn season. The fall color is fabulous and there are many Red Maple cultivars that are available in the tree nurseries. Some of the common varieties include Autumn Blaze, Red Sunset, October Glory and Autumn Flame.

Green Ash- Green Ash is also a deciduous tree that is commonly used for ornamental purposes. This tree is known for its resistance to diseases. Green Ash is quite tolerant to pollution as well and it is widely used in urban areas. Tolerance of this tree makes it an ideal choice for landscapers. White Ash or American Ash which is related to this species is also commonly used in landscaping.

Crabapple Tree- Crabapple tree has many varieties and they are prized for their beauty. The trees bear light pink or white colored flowers. These trees have a beautiful fall color that ranges from red, purple to orange in color. Some common Crabapple cultivars are Pink Flowering Crabapple, White Snowdrift, Prairie Fire Red Crabapple and Robinson Crabapple.

 American Elm- American Elm is an extremely hardy tree that can tolerate harsh weather conditions. It is also less susceptible to many diseases which makes it an ideal tree for landscaping purposes. American Elm is the right choice for people who do not want any hassles and are looking for a low maintenance tree.

Apart from these trees you can consider growing Japanese Tree Lilac, White Oak, Sargent Cherry, European Ash, Sugar Maple and Sycamore. All these landscaping trees are easy to grow and require less care and maintenance as compared to the other varieties.
