At All About Art in Monroe CT kids will have great time learning all about art. They offer a full service art center that gives classes in art for kids ages 18 months up to adults and these classes are for all skill levels. Playtime Village is one of the most fun play areas for Monroe CT kids to go. It is an 8,600 sq ft indoor play space that is made for Moms, Dads, Grandparents and kids. Some of the most interesting classes offered at Playtime Village are the Jubilee Music program for ages five and under, a Mommy and Me class. You and your child will enjoy music and movement, making noises with all sorts of fun items and having a great time with your child. They also have a Pre-school “prep” class to help the children who are under 3 years old to become socially ready for Pre-School. They work on fine motor skills, attention span and following directions. Playtime Village also has a Dress Up Tea party for girls ages 3 and up that is held the first Sunday of each month from 2 to 3p, and Character Dinners the third Friday of each month from 5 to 6:30 making for a great family fun night.

Monroe CT kids can also have a great time at the 6th Annual Children’s Fishing Derby for children ages 3 to 14. Held at Wolfe Park’s Great Hollow Lake this will be a fine time for all kids and their parents. There will be prizes held and you can even get your worms for bait right at the lake. And Monroe CT kids no doubt have a total blast each year at the Memorial Day Parade that is held in the War Memorial Park in Historic Drive and Monroe Turnpike. There will also be a ceremony after the parade. What better place to see a Patriotic parade than in Monroe CT kids!
