- 1). Park your truck as close to a wall or closed garage door as you can.
- 2). Mark the glow of the truck's headlights by placing a horizontal masking tape line from one light point to the other. Next, mark the center of each headlight beam by placing a piece of masking tape vertically in the middle of the light spot created.
- 3). Back your truck about 25 feet away from the wall. This allows the beam to dissipate enough for you to accurately aim the headlights.
- 4). Use a torx head screwdriver to adjust the horizontal and vertical positioning screws. When the headlights are properly aimed, the beam should shine approximately two inches below your horizontal tape line and to the right of the vertical lines.
