Instructions for Self Hardening Clay Beads

- 1). Remove the clay from the plastic wrapper. Knead the clay with your hands until it is soft enough to work with.
- 2). Separate the mound of clay in four to six chunks.
- 3). Roll and chunk of clay back and forth in between the palms of your hands to create a long piece of clay that looks like a worm or a snake.
- 4). Pinch off dime-sized pieces of clay from the roll you just created and roll the piece of clay in-between the palm of your hands to form a little ball, or bead. Repeat this process to make as many beads as you need.
- 5). Push a tooth pick through the center of the beads.
- 6). Place the beads you've created on a piece of wax paper placed on a flat surface. Allow the beads to dry over night for 12 to 24 hours.
- 7). Paint the beads with acrylic paint in any color you like. Allow the beads to dry for 20 to 30 minutes, or until they are no longer wet.
