Proform 43590 Features
- Like most ProForm treadmills, the 435EX is a fold-away treadmill. Lift the back of the deck to an upright position until it locks in place next to the console. Wheels on the base of the machine allow you to roll it to a different room or storage area. The deck is cushioned to ease the stress on your joint from the impact of walking or running. The console requires three "AA" batteries to run.
- The ProForm 435EX has a speed range of 0 to 8 mph. The incline legs on the back of the machine offer six different incline positions, adjustable with a control button on the console. The running area is 45 inches long and 17 inches wide. The 435EX has a maximum user capacity of 250 lbs. The walking belt is coated at the factory with a high-performance lubricant. You do not have to apply any treadmill oil to the walking belt.
- The console on the 435EX has a book holder and water bottle holder. The included safety key inserts into the console on one end and clips to your waist on the other end. If you slip backwards on the machine, the safety key disengages from the console, turning the machine off and stopping the belt. Rear roller adjustment bolts on the back of the 435EX allow you to tension and center the running belt using the included Allen wrench.
- The ProForm 435EX console features two controllers. The left controller changes the ramp incline and the right sliding controller adjusts the belt speed. The four displays in the middle of the console show the elapsed time, speed, distance and approximate calories and fat calories burned. An LED pacer track, made up of small indicator lights, represents a 1/4-mile. The indicators light up one at a time tracking your progress. Once you complete one circuit, or 1/4-mile, the lights reset and start over.
