Nikon D3X Is One Hot DSLR for 2010

When it comes to high-end cameras, there are only a few camera manufacturers can lay claim to the fact that they are regularly considered.
Nikon USA is one of those camera makers included in the select pool.
And for 2010, Nikon once again has proved that it knows the business of high-end cameras that truly matter.
One validation for Nikon come from the Professional Photographer magazine as it names the Nikon D3X as their 'Hot One' for 2010.
In making the choice, the magazine pointed on the strengths of the camera like the large and the full-frame FX-format and its high resolution imaging thanks to the 24.
5-megapixel camera.
Something to brag about is the autofocus system backed with the 3D focus tracking and the Color Matrix Metering II.
For those wanting to have a more general feel of the D3X, then here are some of the basics that can be expected from the high-end camera.
•The D3X still carries the same feel, design and make known to other early DSLRs from the company.
In fact, you can feel the similarities with other Nikon entries on AF, metering and in the main functionalities like the presence of the D3.
For the previous owners of the D2X, the feeling is quite the same since the design considerations are quite similar.
Only a few differences exist in this D3X, but these things can easily be learned.
•The camera is boosted by the 24.
5 megapixel and the 5:4 and the DX crops that allows for great detail when capturing images.
•Camera also features 5fps at full resolution and also known for the DX crop that can capture 10mp images reaching up to 7fps.
•ISO ranges from 100-1600 and can be extended down to 50 and as high as 6400.
•Carries the EXPEED technology (16-bit).
Though the camera hits big in the market and received positively by the enthusiasts and the other consumers, there are some things in the camera that didn't make some people too excited.
Some of the features of the camera can be categorized as 'conservative'.
For one, the ISO range is not that excellent.
Consumers looking for the modular design and better formats are a bit disappointed with some of the features of the camera.
And more importantly, the Nikon D3X's features are not new in the game.
Canon with its 1DSIII has already offered camera in 21mp and 5fps and the Sony entry called the Alpha allows for more legroom and megapixel ratio for the enthusiasts and the photographers.
Though there are some rough patches for the D3X, still this high-end camera from Nikon makes raves in a number of industries.
There are still some features of the camera that addresses the need of many practitioners like the presence of the EXPEED technology, the ability to store more than 4 thousand images in one battery charging and a few more.
In terms of cost, Nikon has continued as well to become competitive and this extends to its Nikon D3X.
