- 1). Connect the Android smartphone to the PC using the USB cable that came with it.
- 2). Press the menu button on the Android phone to display a slide-up menu of options.
- 3). Tap the "Settings" option to open the Settings menu.
- 4). Open the "Wireless & Networks" menu by tapping on that option.
- 5). Tap on "Tethering & Portable Hotspot."
- 6). Turn on USB tethering by tapping the check box next to the "USB tethering" option. The computer will now automatically configure itself to use the Android smartphone's Internet connection.
