- 1). Drape something such as an old towel or hairstylist drape over your shoulders to protect skin and clothes from the chemicals and put your gloves on.
- 2). Mix the lightening product and developer together to form a consistency similar to hair color. Mix the two products in a color applicator bowl using a color applicator brush to stir.
