Instructions for the Sony Ericsson Z300a

    Assembly

    • 1). Slide off the panel at the back of the phone to reveal the SIM card and battery slots.

    • 2). Insert the SIM card under the silver holders with the exposed chip facing down.

    • 3). Insert the battery with the label facing up. The connectors on both the phone and the battery should be in contact.

    • 4). Replace the back panel of the phone.

    • 5). Use the charger to connect the phone to a power source. Allow the Z300a to charge until the battery icon is full, which usually takes about four hours. Remove the charger.

    • 6). Turn the phone on by flipping it open and pressing the power button on the bottom left of the keypad. Hold it until the screen lights up.

    Calling

    • 1). Flip the phone open.

    • 2). Enter the phone number you wish to call.

    • 3). Press the "Yes" button at the top left corner of the keypad to make the call. If the call fails and the phone display shows "Retry?," press the "Yes" button to redial.

    • 4). Press the "No" button at the top right corner of the keypad to end the call.

    Texting

    • 1). Flip the phone open.

    • 2). Press the "Navigation" key located in the middle of the arrow keys to see the menu.

    • 3). Press the arrow keys to highlight "Messaging" in the menu, and press the "Navigation" key to select it. Select "Text message" followed by "Write new."

    • 4). Enter your message using the buttons on the keypad. Press the "Yes" button when you are finished composing the message.

    • 5). Enter the recipient's phone number. Press the "Yes" button" to send the text message.
