How to Get Rid of Sewer Roaches With Bleach

    • 1). Clean out your cabinets, drawers, under your sink or anywhere you have seen the roaches. Mix 3/4 cup of bleach with 1 gallon of water to make bleach water and clean the areas. The smell will keep the roaches away.

    • 2). Seal and cover any holes with caulk. This will prevent the roaches from coming in. If you own a home, check outside your home for access points.

    • 3). Sprinkle small amounts of boric acid behind appliances and furniture. The acid attacks the nervous system of the roach and dehydrates the body. Also sprinkle the boric acid on carpeted areas of your home and let it sit for 24 hours. Vacuum the carpet and then discard the vacuum bag after. Keep children and pets away from the area.

    • 4). Use a dehumidifier to keep humidity at a minimum. Sewer roaches thrive in humid environments.
