The Power of Raw Veggies!

Had any veggies yet today? The closer researchers look into the benefits of these whole foods they see foods that have a powerful and protective nature.
Science has been trying to understand the way disease works for decades so drugs could be developed to help with certain disease's and vegetables play a part.
Researchers say that some veggies seem to have certain chemicals that enhance our DNA, repair our cells and may even protect from cancer developing.
I have learned that cauliflower; broccoli and cabbage as well as soybeans have certain compounds and chemicals that can increase two specific proteins that actually help repair our damaged DNA.
One study showed this to be true by exposing prostate and breast cancer cells to these specific compounds and chemicals as the production of these repairing proteins increased.
I don't know about you but I love to fix fresh stir-fry with some of these vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower.
You have to make sure not to overcook this dish for heating these veggies too much will most likely kill all the goodness we actually want to get from them.
