- 2). Go to your bank before the wire transfer deadline, which may happen before the bank closes. Fill out a wire transfer form, which gives the bank permission to wire the money. Ask the teller for the wire transfer fee, which varies between banks.
- 3). Give the account information and transfer form to the teller. Typically the transfer will occur within the same day, but check with the teller for specifics. Follow up with the receiving account to make sure the transfer goes through.
