How to Get Rid of Wavy Hair
- 1). Apply the heat protection cream, serum or spray to your hair. Buy products for your type of hair--thick or thin, soft or coarse--and apply as directed.
- 2). Dry your hair with the hair dryer. Use the brush to get rid of knots and tangles.
- 3). Brush your hair out, removing all loose hair.
- 4). Plug in the iron and turn the heat all the way up.
- 5). Separate your hair down the middle.
- 6). Tie one part up over your shoulder with the hair band.
- 7). Pull the bulk of the other side up with a hair clip.
- 8). Begin with small sections of hair, and gently iron from the scalp to the ends, repeating until the hair has the desired straightness.
- 9). Throw the sections behind your shoulder as you finish with them.

Let your hair down over your shoulder and release another section. Tie up the rest with the clip as before. - 11
Repeat Steps 8 through 10 until the whole side of your hair is done. - 12
Take the hair band out of the other side of your hair and loosely tie up the section that has been straightened to avoid kinks. - 13
Repeat Steps 8 through 10 on this side of your hair. - 14
Brush out the hair when it is completely straightened. - 15
Touch up the back of your hair and the top and/or bangs for finishing touches. Style as desired.
