How to Clean Concrete Planters

    • 1). Locate a spot in your yard or garden that can tolerate a temporary flood of water.

    • 2). Attach the high-powered sprayer attachment to the end of your garden hose.

    • 3). Tip the empty concrete planter on its side, so the reservoir doesn't collect water.

    • 4). Spray the planter all over with the organic surface cleaner. You can use any cleaner labeled as "green," which means the cleaner is biodegradable or environmentally safe.

    • 5). Set the spray nozzle to the highest spray pressure, and thoroughly spray the cleaner away from the concrete planter.

    • 6). Tip the planter back to the upright position, and let it dry in the sun.
